Hi y’all, my name is Christine Brown and I live in Kansas City. I graduated with a psychology degree and worked in an early childhood special education program for three years. Although I love working with children, my true passion is creating special events for friends and family in a creative and innovative way. I’m currently a housewife, focusing on becoming a professional wedding and event planner. In the next two years, my sister-in-law and I plan to start an event planning business around the Kansas City area.

 

In the past two years, I have hosted several bridal showers and parties. The overall excitement of event planning has encouraged me to invest in a future of becoming a professional wedding and event planner. Hearing positive feedback from the events I’ve held, has given me the confidence to further my education in this field. Implementing structured strategies such as A8, creating mood boards, and learning venue selection techniques have made current event planning projects more organized and efficient. 

 

Project 1 is inspired around my sister Ally and her fiancé, Kyle’s wedding. They are a vivacious couple full of energy, who enjoy spending time together outdoors. The mood board represents the rustic elegant wedding the couple desires. A relaxed atmosphere with elegant vibes will make this bohemian romance wedding one of a kind.
